Dale’s Weekly walking tour

  • The Weekly Walking Tour led by Dale Roberts

Led by Dale Roberts, the Walking Beatle Tour is a 3 hour walking tour of Liverpool taking in the major city centre locations that were significant to The Beatles, The Merseybeat and to music scene of Liverpool, alongside seeing the major sites of Liverpool City Centre.

This is the only tour we operate on a scheduled basis - meaning you don’t have to private hire it, you can book on at a set price per person, per week.

  • 3.5 hours long

Starts at 6pm in the winter and 7.30pm throughout the other months of the year.

  • The beauty of this tour is that it is catered to the group who attends.

Sometimes this will become more of a pub crawl, other times more of a history tour.
However, you will see at least the following:

    • The Albert Dock

    • The Pier Head

    • Mathew Street

    • Hidden Gems

    • Church Street/Bold Street

    • The Jacaranda

    • Ye Cracke Pub

    • Hope Street

    • And much much more!

    • We cannot guarantee that every pub will be open

    • You will meet many characters on this tour, which is part of the beauty of it. This ranges from locals in pubs to homeless people in the streets. We treat everyone with respect.

    • We reserve the right to refuse you from joining or continuing with the tour if you are too drunk or you become a problem at any point.

    • This tour is 3.5 hours long and the guide is skilled at timekeeping, however if you are a slow drinker or find yourself being slow, this tour may get adapted or you may be sped up.

    • You must drink responsibly.

    • Over 18s only.

    • Walking will be involved in this walking tour, no surprise there. Please wear appropriate footwear.

  • £20 per person.

Drinks not included so that you can choose how much, how little or what you would like to drink.

city centre walking tour

  • Liverpool is a city full of history. From Maritime to Music, from Comedy to Architecture from Football to Film.

Which the best thing about Liverpool is the people of our city, the beauty of doing a walking tour of the place is that it is reasonably compact and accessible by foot.

That is why a walking tour is a good way of getting to see the city, up close and personal and not behind a window screen.

A city centre walking tour can be exactly what you want it to be, focused on select subjects or just trusting the guide and the places they take you.
